From first latch to first words

The moment something feels off with your baby's feeding or development, everything else stops. You deserve answers from someone who has spent years finding them for families just like yours.

I'm Rachel. Pediatric SLP, Certified Lactation Counselor, and NICU clinician with eight years of experience across the full spectrum of pediatric feeding, swallowing, and communication.

This is concierge-level care the way it should be — unhurried, deeply personalized, and built around your child specifically. No waitlists. No rotating providers. Just one specialist who knows your family and shows up fully every single time.

If your baby isn't latching, your toddler won't eat, or you're navigating life after the NICU — you're in the right place.

About

Every family that walks through my door has already been on a journey. Some have been worried for weeks. Some for years. Some are just home from the hospital with a baby who won't feed and no idea where to turn. Wherever you're coming from, my job is the same — to find answers, make a plan, and walk alongside you until things are better.
I was drawn to the most complex cases early in my career — NICU graduates, infants with cleft palate, children whose feeding challenges required more than any single provider could offer alone. I thrive in the space where medicine, therapy, and family education intersect. Where the answer isn't always obvious and the best outcomes come from staying curious, collaborating closely with the right team, and never settling for "let's just wait and see."
I'm Rachel Hoffmann — a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and active NICU clinician with eight years of experience across feeding, swallowing, and communication. My background includes the NICU bedside, cleft palate team care, inpatient care, and outpatient pediatric practice — which means I understand your child's needs from every angle, not just one.
But clinical skill is only part of what I bring. I see myself as an educator as much as a clinician. My goal is never to create dependency on therapy — it's to give you the knowledge, the tools, and the confidence to advocate for your child long after our work together is done. The families I work with don't just get better outcomes. They understand why.
Outside the clinic and the NICU, I'm a wife and mom living in South Florida — which means I also know firsthand what it feels like to want nothing but the best for the little person who has your whole heart.
If you're looking for a specialist who is clinically grounded, relentlessly dedicated, and genuinely invested in your family — I'd be honored to work with you.
